Our Green Thumb's Community Garden

Whether relaxing next to her tomatoes or watering her plants in between classes, Marisa Bowersox (MAIEP '11) is just one of dozens of Monterey Institute students who enjoy their personal campus plot in the campus community garden. After breaking ground on a garden in Albania while in the Peace Corps, Marisa was inspired to build upon the work of previous environmental policy students and expand the Our Green Thumb garden into a place you can grow whatever you want. Two years later, the garden has become a thriving hub of intercultural collaboration rooted in a common passion for the environment. Do you have a green thumb?
