Dramatically change a Landscape in Lightroom | QE

In this video I'm dramatically changing a rather boring landscape image into a dark, gloomy picture. For the #PostProcessing I used Adobe #Lightroom and a little bit of #Photoshop. So this is a rather boring image shot under bad weather conditions. My goal was to turn this into something quite dark. All of the 'main' editing was done in Lightroom while I used Photoshop to remove some objects (sensor spots, cars, people). First I had to adjust the white balance to give the picture a colder look (reducing temperature). Then I need to darken the image by reducing the exposure. I also increased the shadows and black to not underexpose, increased the clarity and contrast for more details (and more contrast ..) and decreast the saturation. Most of the heavy editing was then done using local adjustments (graduated and radial filters) to get a more detailed foreground, darken the sky, and also increasing the clarity in the sky / mountain area. The radial filters I used to add glow on each side of the mountain. After the local adjustments I also needed to do some color grading in the HSL and Split Toning panel, applying this cold, blue colorstyle.
