His loving wife, Mărioara, climbs the mountain to fetch hazel rods, which he then splits and shaves into ribs for basket weaving. The complete process of #basketweaving a two-hands tall slat pack basket took two days, including harvesting and preparation of the materials needed. The family was very welcoming and eager to give basket weaving lessons.
