Storyline: Sohag, played by Mir Foysal, is an NGO worker from the Ashavorosha Foundation, a usury lending institution. His mission is to find people in the village who need loans. However, the village Panchayat, led by Hanif Mia (played by Nasir Rayhan), strongly opposes interest-based loans, which are considered Haram (forbidden) in Islam. Hanif warns Sohag to stay away from the village and urges the youth to remain vigilant. Determined to fulfil his duties, Sohag sneaks into the village under the cover of darkness, but the youth catch him. The village Imam, in a powerful and insightful speech, explains the dangers of usury with references from the Quran and Hadith. Realizing the gravity of his actions, Sohag repents and vows to abandon the usury business, promising to seek a Halal livelihood instead.
