I discovered that the new Silverstone FLP02 case has a critical flaw - the PSU can draw the air only from the below, where the air flow is restricted with slots, dense filter and the feet are also very small. The case is UNUSABLE on even a thin carpet, and even on a solid floor unusable with the supplied filter. What would you do? Would you run it without the filter or shift the PSU upwards as I suggested? A gap between the PSU and the bottom of the case is a fail-safe measure, that enables the PSU to always have access to the air needed to cool itself, even when the filter is clogged. With the gap the PSU will NEVER OVERHEAT or run excessively hot. Without the gap it can overheat or run much hotter and shorten its life.
