There are several kinds of antitrust behaviors. First, allocating customers and territories. This is where individuals or companies divide and/or allocating customers or territories among competitors. Next is price-fixing. These are agreements between businesses or competitors regarding the pricing of a product. There is “tying” where the sale of one product is conditional on the purchase of a second product. Bid rigging is an illegal agreement between two or more competitors to “rig” a bid. Vendor lock-in happens when a customer is locked into a certain vendor and cannot move to another vendor without substantial switching costs. And finally, group boycotts. This is an organized effort to coerce a "target" to take a specific action by refusing to buy, sell, or use the target’s products and/or services. Note that price-fixing, allocating territories, and group boycotts are the most common kinds of antitrust behaviours. =============================== Let us help your company build a culture of integrity!
