204. How to Make the Canopy Taller - Ingenuity and 1/4 Inch Paint

Creative solutions to simple problems are what railway modelers become good at quickly! Today the canopy needs to ‘grow’ by 7 mm. This unusual solution seems to have worked well. Besides slowing down progress and taking much longer than expected … but then don’t all modeling projects? … the addition of the ‘finishing washers’ really seems to have worked well. I’m still committed to spending as little as I possible can on this huge project by using things I already have as far as is possible. Imagine my annoyance when I go to the store, buy a chunk of metal only to find another piece I already had!! Oh well. I’m sure it will be useful for something else later.
