Welcome to Spook Lass' mod, SJSM+, for OG Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion! This mod is currently still in development, but will eventually be released to the public. The mod is a complete overhaul of OG Spooky's, utilizing every bit of the GameMaker engine to its fullest potential, while adding many HD Renovation features and assets as well. When finished, the mod will contain over 50 chases in Endless Mode, many of which are harder versions of already existing specimens, along with many completely new chases. Combos will also be a feature in the mod. In this video, we have Snowman! This is one of the several brand new unique chases in the mod. The idea for this chase came from Akuma Kira’s unused idea of having a snowy level with a snowman chasing the player. Snowman's design was created by @N1ghtL1ght64, and voiced by @spooklass and @ali_plays. After 5 rooms from Snowman's spawn, Snowman will begin chasing the player. It doesn't go through walls and is corporeal, but the floors will be very slippery and icy through the entire chase, making it hard to maneuver at times. The pre-chase theme and chase theme were both made by Spook Lass. Secret Jolly Mode: If the player types the word "jolly" on their keyboard at any time during Snowman's chase, they will activate Jolly Mode, where a Christmas themed overlay will appear on the edge of their screen and the World 3 theme from New Super Mario Bros. Wii will play. In this case, I also had Christmas Mode turned on in the game's settings to demonstrate it and because it was fitting. In Christmas Mode, all Specimen 1s will be the present variant, designed by Peko. Note: Some of you might question why I didn't use the jumping feature in certain instances where I hit dead ends in BIG rooms. That's because I simply didn't want to take the risk of falling into the abyss. Because everything is very slippery, jumping can be risky during this chase. 0:00 Chase in Zone 1 3:45 Chase in new zone 6:51 Secret Jolly Mode
