Back to the SYS8 main frame. But this time I wanted to express my all time love for Noctua fans. Yes I am one of these guys that genuinely love the OG color scheme. It is a very strong chassis. But a tiny one. No way it could fit the Asus x Noctua GPU in regular position. Here comes my friend at Redshift Project ! He did a wonderful job as always designing a custom bracket that perfectly blends in the SYS8 theme. https://redshiftproject.com/ https://modable.eu/ At this point, we already had a perfectly silent PC and we could have stopped here. But it is meant to be an editing machine and features two gen5 SSD. These things can get hot... so mainly as a proof of concept, I added some watercooling. And it works. Concept valid. They always stay under 20 celsius even under stress test. And how about the NH-D15 G2 ? Well it managed to do even better than the previous gen. The 12700K refuses to get hotter than 50C, the beast is incredibly silent and when it ramps up it's got that nice Noctua noise that never hurts your ears. Banger.
