How to increase visibility of open-access publications (Panel Discussion | Berlin Science Week 2020)

Russell Alt-Haaker of OpenD, a new open access publication platform for dissertations, and Stephanie Dawson of ScienceOpen organized a panel to discuss best practices for making research stand out in the open-access landscape during Berlin Science Week 2020. The panel examines ways of building on open access to enhance the discoverability, visibility, and comprehensibility of research for specialists and nonspecialists alike with the goal of more broadly redefining the concept of “openness” anchored within the OA movement. This is an interesting conversation for everyone but especially relevant for publishers, researchers, and entrepeneurs.
