About the Presenter: Kim Riley is a social entrepreneur, mother, and advocate who envisioned a better transition experience for youth with disabilities in Kansas City. As the parent of an autistic child, she experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating the confusing and poorly designed postsecondary preparation process. Determined to create a better path, she founded The Transition Academy (TTA) in 2019 to help young people and their families access the resources and support they need for a successful future. With a background spanning higher education, healthcare, and nonprofits, she brings a wealth of experience to her work.
