How Good Can a Fates Unit Be Without Supports?

The support system is one of the key mechanics of Fire Emblem Fates, not only giving stat boosts as it does in most titles, but also unlocking reclassing options, expanding your roster, and giving you new chapters to play. Properly routing your supports can be game changer on the highest difficulties of all three routes, powering up your forces in a variety of ways. With that in mind, the units who cannot participate in support system (known as "corrinsexuals" within the Fates community) are at a significant disadvantage to their peers. But can any of them defy the odds and stand out as good units anyway? I aim to answer this question with a look at the games strongest "Corrinsexual", Rev Reina. Rev is my favorite Fire Emblem game, but because of its (IMO Undeserved) reputation, I don't see much Fire Emblem Content surrounding it. Well, as someone who has played Rev more than most people, I intend to change that. So I'm going to do a deep dive into the entire cast (both gen 1 and gen 2) and talk about them for way too long as units. This series is heavily inspired (read: straight up stolen) from ‪@badatlife‬ who does a similar thing for Birthright (another often hated game in the fates trilogy). If he's the "Birthright Guy" my hope is to be the "Rev Girl" although I'll let y'all be the judge of that.
