#pokerogue You know what time it is? That's right, it's 2X Shiny Weekend with NO SHINY! Whenever I tried to record something, shiny never appears... Honestly not a good run. Venomoth is largely useless until Eternatus while Lokix is decent but not really good; they're mostly for the shiny luck. Vivillon is just dedicated suicide switch. Stuck with 2 Bug/Poison and 2 Bug/Flying isn't a good feeling. I wanted to get Blipbug in the first level, but they only appear at night and I don't know where else I can find them. I tried going to Badlands for Centiskorch, but of course I can't find them. Well not that it matters because I didn't get Dynamax Band until lategame, and I don't even find a Mushroom for G-Max Butterfly. Although, I honestly should've switched Vivillon with Rabsca, even if the ones I caught didn't have good natures, just to have someone with decent SpDef other than Escavalier. I knew I had to have a Steel bug in the run because of the debilitating Flying and Rock weakness. Scyther probably would have been the better pick, but it's too costly. Could've used Forretress instead and have extra 1 point for Shiny Wurmple. However, I went with Escavalier because I've never used it before and it looks cool. If only there's a bug with Wind Rider passive. Like Cutiefly because it's the shortest and lightest bug pokemon in existence. Butterfree absolutely carried the game with Compound Eyes and Bleakwind Storm, except against Mega Rayquaza because of rng. Which is why it hurts not getting any Max Mushroom. Technician Mega Beedrill is fun as hell, not sure whether Adaptability and Technician boost stacks though. Escavalier came in clutch several times, especially against Mega Rayquaza and Eternatus. The run itself is pretty horrible, Flint, Iris and final Ivy almost wiped me. Cave is scary, especially the Rock Slides. Not to mention I had to stop playing several times through the run for life purpose and when I'm not "in the zone" through the game, I do stupid mistakes. But there are some good decisions made, like learning Acrobatics at the cost of Baneful Bunker gave me a Technician boosted flying move for Volcarona. Also getting Acid Spray for E-max Eternatus was such a good call.
