In December 2016, Omicron Delta received an overhaul, replacing the weird tunnel that was just a copy from Omicron Kappa's easter egg tunnel starsphere with an actually fitting, edgeworld-themed starsphere. The nebulae in this system also got adjusted to that. What Discovery had back then was probably one of the most beautiful systems with a stunning view from Freeport 11 in all directions. The sun had a nice asteroid ring around it that was actually nice to use as race track. There were no stacked PoBs and the only flaw was the Daumann Station that later got added near Nauru. Later, one of the system developers from that time period, pushed for reverting the theme of Omicron Delta back to a very muddy, unattractive dark and purple atmosphere, which in the end resulted in nothing more than people spending a lot less time in Omicron Delta. While this will likely not change, due to how the current system developers butcher things, I took it upon myself to simply recreate Omicron Delta how I liked it best - green, atmospheric, with lots of ships. In fact, in 2017, Freeport 11 was actually guarded by three Aquilon-class Carriers, much to the dismay of anyone hostile to Zoners. It is almost as if the people that not only had the means to leave house space but also survive in the Edge Worlds for centuries are more than capable to defend themselves.
