Welcome back to Little Bit Farm & Garden! In today's video, we’re doing a full spring walkthrough of the apiary and the garden. We start by checking in on the bee split we performed on March 1st to see if our new queens have finally emerged. You’ll also see some interesting "bearding" behavior as the bees react to the rising temperatures. We discuss our progress moving the hives from medium frames into deeps and take a look at which hives are absolutely "booming" right now. Stick around for the end as we head over to the garden to see our blueberries and pear trees in full bloom (with plenty of busy pollinators!) and check on the first sprouts of our sunflowers, okra, and cucumbers.
