Exclusive Look: Sherpa by Towee Boats

While the "official" model launch for the Towee Sherpa is still a few weeks away, we are ready to announce that the Sherpa and Sherpa Pro Trailer combo introductory price has been set at $16,900 - ready for prop or jet power (..or both). Coming in at 17' LOA with a 61" beam and a hull weight of a mere 402lbs, the Sherpa is a true crossover skiff that is just as much at home on the flats as it is on rocky rivers and most anything in between. The Sherpa hull is constructed from a modified version of the same super light and tough proprietary lamination as the Calusa Pro and we will continue to offer the same lifetime hull warranty against defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner as we have for the past 15 years with all of our Calusa series skiffs. If you've missed it, there is a walk around video of "Sherpa 1", our test bed skiff, posted on the Towee Instagram feed and FB pages. The Sherpa will be available with a custom poling platform and grab bar options. For our power drifter owners, the Sherpa will depart from the removable rowing frame used in the Calusa Pro. The Sherpa "RS" option package will include removable integrated oarlocks. A side console options version is in the works with the Yamaha 40 with either Nitro Assist or Power Tilt and Trim being the "go to" prop power along with Tohatsu outboards and jets and Mercury jets as well. Due to an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response, we are currently accepting pre-release orders and are already building the first customer Sherpas as this is written.
