We’ve been in the northern region of Thailand for almost 2 months and mainly Chiang Mai. Normally we would have left Chiang Mai already to move on to Bangkok but due to our Covid Visa Extension we had to stay 15 more days because we need to pick up our approval at the Chiang Mai immigration. So we decided to go on a short roadtrip to explore some less well-known cities around Chiang Mai. Lamphun was one of our destinations. We drove to Lamphun which is about 45min by scooter from Chiang Mai. We just missed the friday market but would recommend you to visit it if you come to Lamphun on a friday.
