Hi Witches! In this video ~ The Wheel of the Year Explained - Sabbats, Solstice, Equinox & Fire ~ We look at the Pagan Wheel of the Year in detail. Firstly, we look at how it works, who it is celebrated by, and what it means to modern people; Pagan or otherwise. We look at the opportunities each Sabbat brings, and some popular misconceptions surrounding the Wheel. Secondly, we look at the Solstices and Equinoxes and understand their role in the Wheel. We then take a look at the four, intersecting Sabbats known as the Celtic Fire Festivals Finally, we run through each of the Sabbats starting at Samhain and get a brief understanding of each one.
