I started the hike in Noiraigue, heading up toward the famous Creux du Van while everything was covered in snow. The climb was challenging but manageable. However, the real struggle started on the way down toward Couvet. The trail was very slippery, and because I did not bring crampons, I slipped and fell many times on the snowy and icy path. Every step required focus, balance, and patience. This hike became a real lesson about winter hiking preparation and how important proper gear is in snowy conditions. Despite the falls, the experience was unforgettable. The winter atmosphere at Creux du Van was beautiful and wild, and this hike pushed my limits both physically and mentally.
