Borders College — Using Immersive Spaces for Education | BT Business

We have recently launched an immersive space with Borders College, who are based in a mostly rural part of Scotland – the Scottish Borders. The 360-degree immersive room runs on our EE 5G network, projecting onto all four classroom walls to bring real life immersive learning opportunities that would otherwise not be accessible to students. One example is for construction students of the College, who have previously not had the opportunity to access large scale inner city developments for on-site learning. With the new immersive technology, they can now experience these real-life construction environments first hand, which enhances their overall learning experience.
