Five people are feared dead after a Kampala bound cargo train derailed in Kibera, and crashed into nearby structures. The accident occurred virtually at the same spot where another Uganda bound cargo train transporting diesel derailed last week leading to a scramble for fuel by residents. The situation is raising concerns of the safety of residents with Prime Minister Raila Odinga ordering both the ministry of transport and the rift valley railways to probe the matter and urgently come up with a solution.
