AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/325680... Have an issue with your PC giving you beep errors or other problems upon powering up and need a way to understand what's going on? You might consider one of these BIOS testing cards that read back the POST error codes. This one in particular uses the 25-pin parallel port (IEEE1284) on a computer to read the BIOS POST codes. Not all computers support such capability on the parallel port however (most desktops do not but laptops tend to). It uses a 4-digit segmented LED display to show POST codes in hexadecimal (0 to F) format. The last two digits is the most recent stored code while the first two digits are the prior code. Pressing the up/down (prev/next) buttons allows you to scroll through the stored codes (with indicating how many are stored). If you press both buttons together the unit will perform an LED display test. As the parallel port doesn't provide any power the tester relies on a USB connection to supply the 5 volts it requires to operate. You'll need a USB power bank or AC adapter to use it or if the machine has an available USB port that can also be used (note that some PCs don't power the USB port at start or reset it during boot). #unboxing #test #pc ------------------------------------------ Like the Facebook page: / brian.mausolf Follow me on Twitter: / mausolfb
