Fantastic excursion to say the least, in the heart of the Catinaccio. The loop itinerary starts from the Rifugio Gardeccia. You go up the path of the Scalette, a path with short aided sections, but not very demanding. Once you reach the Lausa Pass, a phantasmagoric panorama opens up where the eye gets lost and intoxicated. Here it is worth stopping and contemplating this beauty. Continuing on, you arrive at the Rifugio Antermoia and the lake of the same name. After passing the Forcella Antermoia, the highest point of the excursion, you arrive at the Rifugio Passo Principe and then the Vajolet Valley: I assure you that you will spend more time admiring the mountains than walking! ITINERARY From the Rifugio Gradeccia (1963 m), follow the road to Pera di Fassa for a short distance and take trail sign 583 on the left. Going up, you arrive first at Passo delle Scalette (2348 m) and then at Passo di Lausa (2700 m). You go down to the Rifugio Antermoia (2496 m) and to the lake of the same name. Here you take path 584 and arrive at the Rifugio Passo del Principe (2601 m) passing through the Forcella Antermoia (2770 m). Now go down to the Rifugi Vaiolet and Preuss (2243 m) and then return to the starting point.
