Course: Dessert Cuisine: American Prep Time: 15m Cook Time: 30m Total Time: 45m Servings: 3 Servings Author: Anjali ingredients: For the Filling 2 Heaping Cups Fresh Strawberries hulled and quatered 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch ½ Teaspoon Salt ¼ Cup Honey can be replaced with Maple Syrup For the Topping ¼ Cup Oat Flour ¼ Cup Rolled Oats 1 Stick Cold Butter cut into small cubes ½ Cup Honey can be replaced with Maple Syrup ½ Teaspoon Salt Vanilla Ice Cream OPTIONAL (for topping) 1) Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray. Set aside. 2) In a large bowl combine Strawberries, Cornstarch, Salt, and Honey. Mix well so that there is no trace of white cornstarch on the strawberries. Pour it into your prepared baking dish. 3) In a separate mixing bowl of medium size, combine Oat flour, rolled oats, cold butter cubes, and honey. Use a fork or a pastry blender to mix it well until it resembles a wet sand-like consistency. 4) Sprinkle the mixture on the strawberry filling. Spread it out evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon.Bake this in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30-minutes, or until the top is almost golden-brown and the mixture is bubbly.
