1974 Ford Capri RS 3100 Group 2 Car: Warm Up & Cosworth GAA V6 Sound in action!

Here's a video of some monstrous Ford Capri RS 3100 Group 2 touring cars I recorded during various events of the last two years. The cars you see in this video all feature the maximum specs that were introduced in 1974 when it was allowed to use twin-cam/DOHC engines. With the help of Cosworth the Essex 3.1-litre OHC engine was tuned and modified in the 3.4-litre DOHC 'GAA' V6 engine, which was able to produce 435-440hp at 8,750 rpm in race trim. Other upgrade were done to the aero with an improved body kit which was influenced by the fact radiators were moved from the front to the rear wheel arches for weight balance purposes.
