The rates of maternal and neonatal death have been dropping around the world since 2000. That's great news - but since 2016, rates of maternal deaths have remained stagnant. We have to do better. I interviewed Melinda French Gates at the 2023 Goalkeepers conference, which focuses on neonatal and maternal health.
