The Clinical and Translational Science Institute is a partnership between a wide range of the renowned schools and colleges of NYU and the largest municipal healthcare organization in the United States. This unique partnership brings together researchers and research teams with diverse backgrounds, interests, and skills to collaborate with the populations of New York City in developing innovative and comprehensive solutions to pressing medical and population health challenges. The CTSI integrates resources, services, and training to accelerate discovery and translate research into health outcomes for our communities, while improving best practices and ensuring safety and compliance. The CTSI has supported the application of cutting-edge machine learning solutions to clinical practice with positive results, accelerated the workflow of clinical research and has contributed to the public-private partnerships so critical for bringing new therapies to patients. We are developing the next generation of clinical and transnational researchers and establishing the network of supports they will need to solve the most urgent health problems.
