This right here is the Curt Ball Mount, it's gonna be able to fit your inch and a quarter hitch receivers, either Class I or Class II. This ball mount's gonna give us a rise and a drop, so we're gonna be measuring from the top inner tube of our hitch receiver. So from there up to the rise position, it's about 2 5/8 of an inch, and if we flip it over, it's gonna give us a 3 1/4 inch drop. It does not come with the ball, so just look at the coupler on the trailer you plan on hauling and match it up with that, we have a lot of these on our website. The only thing you need to make sure of is that the shank of the ball has a diameter of 3/4 of an inch, 'cause that's how big the hole is on our ball mount. This is not gonna come with a hitch pin, you just wanna make sure when you do get one that it has a diameter of a half an inch, 'cause that's how big the hitch pin hole is. And from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball, it's gonna be about 9 3/8 of an inch. This ball mount's gonna give us an overall gross trailer weight of 3,500 pounds and a tongue weight of 350 pounds. We do wanna make sure that our hitch is gonna be rated for that, and also, the vehicle. Just because the ball mount's rated for that doesn't mean your whole system is. It's like chains, the weakest link is the number you kinda have to go with. When it comes to ball mount, the most important thing is to match it up with the right ball that is gonna fit your trailer. Another really important part is just to make sure that the ball mount's gonna be able to handle the weight of the trailer, and then, we need to also check the hitch capacity along with the vehicle capacity. So mix all of that stuff together and you're gonna get the perfect ball mount for your setup. And that'll do it for a look at the inch and a quarter Curt Ball Mount..
