I know, I know. So many more things I should still be putting on a Ravager. Freeze rockets. Acid weapons. Sporks, probably. But I needed a break. The hangar is pretty strong right now... strong enough that I can probably win these games in four bots, most of the time... Why not bring back the first bot to use one of each size weapon? The original corner-shooter? The bot so powerful that Pixonic is too afraid to let you have one? ... that's right, the Golem! Golem doesn't get any fancy customizations and doesn't need any. He's the old grandpa on the porch. He might not look like much but he went to war three times before you were born and when the best treatment they had for most injuries was "walk it off." What he DOES get is two Armor Expert skills. For some reason, Pixonic gave some of these older bots two (I think Boa has them too? Maybe Schutze?). Before they standardized the value of the skills, I think they were different values, too. I don't remember exactly what but I remember not being annoyed at the change because at least one was lower than the now-standard 15%. How is it? Better than a lot of bots, for sure. Better than Dagon, IMO. Still needs to see a Raptor nerf. But surprisingly solid, I guess I'm saying. Or maybe unsurprisingly. Golem will outlive us all.
