Episode #3 of Soap Clay Basics focuses on bringing soap clay embeds to life. Adding a one color finish to soap embeds will be demonstrated. This is a very simple and effective technique for adding depth, texture, and interest to soap clay embeds. This technique will also work on Melt & Pour soap embeds. FYI, i make a prototype (a practice piece) for all my creations. In this video, the all white embed is the practice piece. It reminds me of an old ivory carving.
