Boyfriend Recalls Learning About Law Student Girlfriend's Murder

Chris Melton went through the day when he learned about his girlfriend, Tara Baker's death, on January 19, 2001. Melton testified that Baker was making plans for her birthday on the 20th. He recounted his workday, during which he discussed finding out about her death through Baker's mom. He also explained why his hands were bloody during that time and was questioned about her murder.
