English teacher Cynthia Abdallah has been around the world, educating. Fragments of her experiences have found their way into her poetry. She calls this concept "the author's feet", representing the journeys she has undertaken throughout her life to this day, with more to come. When she is not teaching, she is a poet, a writer, a filmmaker, a curator of short story anthologies and soon going to be a publisher. Where she sees a gap, her instinct is to be the high-agency individual who rises to the occasion, quietly doing what needs to be done. Author's Feet is the name of one of her poetry collections. It is also the name of a You Tube show she produces that interviews authors about their journeys (currently on a hiatus but it's coming back).
