Jack Halberstam's presentation, ‘An Aesthetics of Collapse: Coming Undone with Alvin Baltrop and Pauline Oliveros’ was part of the Queer Feminist Currents launch event 'Queer Futurity' on 17 February 2021. The conversation was chaired by Eleanor Roberts. For this study day, participants engaged with extracts from Jack Halberstam’s Wild Things: The Disorder of Desire (2020) as a starting point for thinking through queer futurity in creative and critical practice. The day involved workshop exercises on key topics and research methods, and provocations from speakers including the queer oral historian Amy Tooth Murphy (Royal Holloway) and Jack Halberstam (Columbia University).
