Hari Om! Swāmī Aparājitānandajī throws light on Bhagavān Ādi Shankarāchārya jī's stage preparation for the ultimate meditation on God by exposing worldly limitations. Verse 4: Verse 4 is about limitation of fickle wordly existence and sorrowful state of misery till ego is alive. This is realistically picturised with examples. Verse 5: To prepare for the worst shock of harsh reality of limited worldly love and attitude of "first receive and then give", Swāmījī explains the unconditional nature of God's love for us beautifully through the sensitive story of a devotee and a beggar. Verse 6: Connecting a continuous chain of thought, Swāmījī describes this as a dangerous verse of stronger dose. It shows how shortlived worldly relations are. We are advised a nice method to cultivate healthy detachment. Swāmījī talks about laws of the world and asks us to realise that the only permanent relation is with God and to enjoy life. Special relation with God is clarified elaborately as experienceable only if strengthened by our efforts. Whole inner journey is described step by step upto tuning with God. Verse 7: Shankarāchārya jī is seen regretting about ways of living and ignoring God. Swāmījī talks about general biography of humanity and specially draws the picture of escape from present and old age chinta and compares and contrasts with chita. Leaving the mechanical way and living the intelligent way (Chinmaya way) is prescribed and its song corollary composed by Swāmījī gives relief. Verse 8: Swāmījī inspiringly calls for doing something new - never before done - viz., to question life and find strange answers and truths by intense enquiry; to find which relation (worldly or Godly) can truly answer them. It is indicated that the way to get answers is Satsanga. Verse 9: For peace, answers to questions are a must and the right sources are Satsanga, Guru (Shāstra), virtues and service. Swāmījī reveals the ladder of rise very artistically and quotes from Gītā about supreme secrets and attainment of Truth. Best example of Satsanga is of Krishna and Sāndīpani Rishi. Moksha or liberation is explained in a simplified manner. (more of verse 9 to continue) (Bhaja Govindam - Verses 4 to 9)
