In deep sorrow, I dedicate this video to the final moments of the Air India B787-8 (VT-ANB) that crashed today. As a plane spotter, this tragedy has touched me deeply because I recently welcomed this aircraft with joy at Frankfurt Airport. It was special to see it, especially since we mostly see Air India flights with the Vistara livery here. Normally, I stay completely quiet during such tragedies. However, since I spotted this Air India aircraft just a few days ago, I feel a special connection as a passionate plane spotter. It was nice to see an Air India with the standard livery again in Frankfurt – and then today, that very aircraft was involved in a tragic crash with over 200 passengers on board. I’m not doing this for clicks, but as a small tribute to the aircraft we enjoyed seeing and spotting. My heartfelt condolences go out to the victims, their families, and all those affected by this tragic event. May this small tribute to the aircraft and its last moments honor those who have passed. Als Planespotter hat mich dieses Unglück besonders berührt, denn ich habe diese Maschine erst vor wenigen Tagen voller Freude am Frankfurter Flughafen begrüßt. Es war etwas Besonderes, sie zu sehen, da wir hier meist nur Air India-Flüge mit der Vistara-Livery zu Gesicht bekommen. Normalerweise halte ich mich bei solchen Unglücken komplett zurück. Da ich diese Air India Maschine jedoch erst vor wenigen Tagen gespottet habe, fühle ich als leidenschaftlicher Planespotter eine besondere Verbindung. Es war wieder schön, eine Air India mit der Standard-Livery in Frankfurt zu sehen – und dann passiert heute genau mit diesem Flugzeug ein tragischer Absturz mit über 200 Passagieren an Bord. Ich mache das nicht für Klicks, sondern als kleines Andenken an die Maschine, die wir gerne gesehen und gespottet haben. Mein aufrichtiges Beileid gilt den Opfern, ihren Familien und allen Angehörigen, die von diesem tragischen Ereignis betroffen sind. Möge dieses kleine Andenken an die Maschine und ihre letzten Momente den Verstorbenen Respekt erweisen.
