In 1911, the Kottayam diocese was not created for the empowerment of the Knanaya Community. It was for the empowerment of spiritual growth and to avoid the fight between two factions for Bishops and clergy. Because of the lack of decisive decision of Pope, It has become a mess now. People do not want to obey either the Pope or the local Judicial system. Knanaya people and their clergy must stop this nonsense. Or else, no one knows where this fight can lead us and destroy the community and spiritual dependence on the Catholic Church.
