Possibly the most famous diving story from Northern Ireland relates to the discovery of La Girona off The Giant's Causeway in the late 1960s by a group of divers from Belgium. In this video we hear from Greer Ramsay (Curator of Archaeology from National Museums Northern Ireland) about the story of La Girona and the treasures that were salvaged, alongside the memories of Robert Stenuit, leader of the salvage operation and Dan Snow who dived on the site recently (under licence) for History Hits.
