Here I am walking in Nerja, Spain (Andalucia) on an early evening in October 2021 from its shopping, dining and bar streets to the Balcón de Europa. Nerja, which lies in the Málaga Costa del Sol area, is one of the best places for taking vacation in southern Spain. You will get an amazing view over the Mediterranean sea at the balcony of Europe and also see the El Salvador Church from the outside. Nerja is a municipality on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is part of the comarca of La Axarquía and famous for its Balcón de Europa. The spot is one of the most popular places in Andalucía, perfect to take a photo of the sea, or with the statue of the late king Alfonso XII who actually named this balcony after the big earthquake that hit Nerja in 1884. The town has also many beautiful and clean sandy beaches and breathtaking surrounding villages like for example Frigiliana, which I filmed before.
