Seed Snails vs. Charles Dowding Seed Tray: Same Space, Different Functions?

EIGHT seed snails take up the same grow shelf space as one, 60-cell modular tray! In this video I (quietly) experiment with the seed snail method using a silicone baking mat and compare it to the Charles Dowding modular tray system. I cut and roll 8 seed snails, fill them with seed starting mix, plant several flower varieties, and compare size/space with the modular tray. This video shows the snail roll full process: cutting the material, filling the snails, rolling them, sowing seeds, and comparing them with the modular tray.
