In this video, we step away from the usual tourist spots and head off the beaten path to explore three incredible small beaches in Huatulco, Oaxaca. These are places where you'll mostly find local families—grandparents, kids, and everyone in between—enjoying the sunshine, warm ocean water, and each other’s company. With a few cold drinks in hand, I soak in the laid-back atmosphere while boats come and go, dropping off and picking up local tourists. I also take the drone up to give you a bird’s-eye view of this beautiful corner of Mexico’s Pacific coast. Getting here is an adventure in itself—you can either arrive by boat or hike down a trail from the surrounding cliffs.
