FIRST TIME HUNTING A FLOODED POTATO FIELD! Oregon Ducks & Geese |

Hunt 9 of #ROADSHOW25 took us to the Pacific Flyway of Oregon to visit our buddy Richard Mark. Back in the DB Zip Waders for the first time this season and man, did it feel good! On the first morning, we knew we’d be chasing puddle ducks, but there was also a chance to pick up some bonus geese hitting the grain field on the back side of the flooded spud field we were hunting. We set a big floater spread of F1 Mallards, Wigeon, Pintail, Specks, Canadas, and yes, the F1 Gadwall (coming soon), out front of our HyVert Blind, with 15 dozen V2 Canada and Speck Silhouettes in the dry grain behind us. We picked on singles, pairs, and small groups and had ourselves a heck of a morning. A special highlight of the hunt was the newest member of the Squad, Jordan Ridenour, dropping his first duck, a stud greenhead on his first shot, followed by a beautiful speck shortly after.
