First Impressions of LUANG PRABANG, Laos 2024 (Southeast Asia's MOST UNDERRATED city?) 🇱🇦

Today we are giving you our first impressions of Luang Prabang, Laos in 2024: the most underrated city in Southeast Asia. We start super early by observing the amazing Tak Bat or Alms Giving Ceremony to the monks. We then make our way to the famous Luang Prabang Morning Market, where we explore some yummy traditional Laos food. After that, we visit Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most important monasteries in Laos, where we learn a bit more about Lao’s history, culture and traditions. We then walk on the Mekong River Promenade along the Mekong River where we stop by for some fantastic coffee with a view. Soon we will explore the beautiful Luang Prabang Historic Town area and admire its aesthetic French colonial architecture and old-world charm. For lunch, we stop by at a rustic restaurant beside the streets of the Historic Town. In the afternoon, we go on a Mekong Sunset Cruise and get a 360-degree view of life around the Mekong River in Laos. Our travel in Southeast Asia is incomplete without food, and hence our evening involves a visit to Luang Prabang’s Night Market where we taste some Laos food as well as some other delights.
