This is our experience of Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro for the very first time. In this vlog we explore some of the most famous blocos de rua in Brazil, including Bloco da Anitta, Monobloco, and the Ipanema Beach bloco, along with several traditional and local blocos spread across the city. We show what Carnaval in Rio is really like, from the massive crowds and insane energy to the music, costumes, and spontaneous street parties that happen everywhere. We spent the day walking through Rio, jumping between different blocos, comparing the traditional ones with the more modern, hype ones, and soaking in the full Carnaval atmosphere.
