Another tough day getting any demersals past the sharks, however we still managed to secure a small feed and some bloody good memories. I was able to convince the old man up for another reef trip, landing yet another beautiful GT for him before he needed a short spell at the helm. Found some new ground a long way offshore while travelling at speed, 3x 1m rocks in approximately 60m of water away from any reef structure. Only managed the one small Red Emperor up, however I am extremely optimistic of the future of these locations once we see an increase in the barometric pressure as you can now see I have started to include in the fishing diary. I would also like to use this opportunity to pay my respects and tribute this video to the passing of my Grandfather (Dad's father). A well respected man of his community and an inspirational angler.
