Day Trip to Stonehenge, Dover & Canterbury | Driving In England

We continued on our road trip throughout southern England and took a day trip from Bath to Stonehenge. This would also be a great day trip from London. Stonehenge is an amazing site to see and we highly recommend putting this on your list. After our visit to Stonehenge we drove 3 hours to Dover to see the famous white chalk cliffs. What an incredible place! Unfortunately, Dover Castle was closed and so we continued on to Canterbury. This is a beautiful medieval town and the Canterbury Cathedral was simply majestic. Our favorite church we've see on this trip, even better than Westminster Abbey. If you can, be sure to visit early in the morning during the week to avoid crowds.
