Data protection is impossible, give up. Well, it is possible I guess, in the same sense as it's possible you could live your whole adult life without ever catching an illness. You can probably imagine a plan that would be possible to do. But would you? That's no life to live. Data protection is impossible, give up trying to achieve it. There's a critical mass of places holding information on you, places actively collecting it on you, and places buying it all. If you want to escape the absurd efficiency in which your data is used against you, you gotta hide in plain sight. The data held by Data Brokers is already notorious for the breadth of outdated (and fully false) info, as it's very difficult to verify existing information in a cost-effective way. Much cheaper to keep collecting, and this is the angle: there's basically nothing that exists to maintain data quality. The signals they use to evaluate you are easy to game, mainly because no one does. So (for now), the only real solution to all this is to make yourself a "known" unknown. No one ever checks these things to see if you're polluting their platforms with bad datapoints (as it pertains to you enjoying the benefits of being catalogued and sold), so you can have your cake and eat it too!
