This unique piece of machinery was discovered in a woodworking shop in Toronto, Ontario, where it had been relegated to a "tool graveyard." It was in rough shape and had been used as a makeshift table for filling glue pods, completely covered in glue before we began the restoration. In this video, we take you through the entire restoration process. We start by stripping the bandsaw down to its core components, ensuring every part gets the attention it deserves. After sandblasting away years of wear and tear, we repaint the saw, giving it a fresh and vibrant look. Next, we replace the old bearings, guides, and tires with new, high-quality components to ensure optimal performance. To top it off, we found a matching Delta fence from the same era, perfectly complementing the bandsaw's vintage aesthetic.
