Most guard dogs will attack any stranger that'll try to enter the property that they are guarding. and this is the most common reason why dogs hate postal workers. Since the beginning of time, canines have protected their resources. In the wild, wolves and wild dogs will show aggressive behaviour any time a person or animal gets near something they believe is theirs.A similar behaviour of the dogs is found when they see a motor bike or a cycle, specially the stray dogs tend to attack motorbikes and cycles quite often. The root of the behaviour comes from an innate sense of the hunt. A speeding bike gives dog something to chase, something to catch, and that feeling in itself is enough to motivate an attack. This behaviour originates from the predatory instincts of the canine. Of course, this does not mean that a dog that persists in chasing a cyclist or biker actually wants to take down and kill them. Instinctive behaviour like this manifests not only in serious survival behaviour like hunting, in some cases it can also be a playful behaviour. anyways coming back to our video the post man delivered a parcel and as soon as he turned back he saw the approaching dog. He was a very sensible man rather than running towards his van or the door, he jumped over the wall and then climbed up into the tree. This was his best move cause he would've never been able to outrun the dog. Running in front of a dog simply means that you are prey who's trying to run away from it. One should only run away from dogs if they have enough distance in between them, and they can get to a safe place before the dog can catch them.
