The pattern has also been described as "dendritic", and can be a fun way to make monoprints. It can be achieved in many different ways with different paints and substrates. I show how I like to find the pattern by squishing the paint between 2 pieces of fluid mixed media paper (yupo paper and plastic craft paper works well too). Some artists use sheets of plexiglass to get a similar effect. I start the video by picking one of my 71 cards from my "Art Poetry for Insights and Inspiration" card deck. I also introduce a new deck, on colour theory. I share some ideas and inspiration for future backgrounds, gift cards, or artist trading cards.
