Head of Safety Promotion at EASA: regulation and risk in the digital era

The European Union Aviation Safety Agency oversees the certification, regulation and standardization of civil aviation safety standards in the European Union and engages in activities aimed at ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of Civil Aviation across EU member states. Alongside the agencies responsibilities of promoting international cooperation, developing common safety rules, the agency works closely with National Aviation Authorities, regulatory bodies outside of the EU, and industry stakeholders promoting global aviation safety standards and harmonizing regulatory practices.
